on of Welsh outside halves\, the dynamic embodimen

layer he scaled the heights of the game with Widne
s\, Warrington\, Canterbury Bulldogs\, North Queen
sland Cowboys\, Wales and Great Britain. Since ret
iring\, he has been in great demand as a broadcast
er\, hosting shows on BBC1 and S4C\, and providing
quick-witted insight as a summarizer and pundit o
n club and international match days in both Rugby
Union and Rugby League. In 2015 he was awarded an
OBE for his charitable work in support of Velindre
Cancer Centre. In 2026 he was awarded a CBE for h
is continued charity work and broadcasting.
