The Pipeline Industries Guild South East Br anch is delighted to invite members to an exclusiv e visit to the Lower Thames Crossing project\, one of the largest and most complex infrastructure pr ogrammes currently being delivered in the UK.

\n This visit will provide a unique oppo rtunity to gain first-hand insight into the scale\ , challenges and innovation involved in delivering a nationally significant transport scheme. Attend ees will hear directly from project leaders and de livery partners responsible for key elements of th e works\, including representatives from the Murph y/Bouygues Joint Venture\, Balfour Beatty and Skan ska.

\n The event will begin at the project's visitor centre\, where attendees will re ceive an overview of the wider Lower Thames Crossi ng scheme\, its objectives and delivery strategy. This will be followed by presentations exploring h ow the project is being delivered as a Carbon Path way project\, highlighting approaches being adopte d to reduce carbon impacts and promote sustainable construction practices.

\n A partic ular focus will be placed on the extensive utiliti es works being undertaken across the programme\, p roviding valuable insights for pipeline and infras tructure professionals involved in major project d elivery.

\n The visit will also incl ude access to the viewing platform and a guided mi nibus tour of the site\, offering participants the opportunity to see key work areas and understand the logistical and engineering considerations asso ciated with delivering a project of this scale.
