The Northern Branch of The Pipeline Industries Guild and Institute of Water are hosting a presentation on the United Utilities project to replace a short section of the Haweswater Aqueduct.

You are invited to join the Northern Branch and listen to a presentation on the United Utilities project to replace a short section of the Haweswater Aqueduct.

The project was to be delivered over the space of 2 years, but the outage to connect the ends of the pipeline were undertaken in October 2020 over 7.5 days, during COVID. The project required extensive planning and preparation to make it a success.

The event is being run in collaboration with the Institute of Water

The session will start with some digital networking time, allowing members of both the Pipeline Industry Guild and the Institute of Water, to meet in zoom breakout areas.

After 10-15 mins of networking there will be a 20 minute presentation by the Guild's Northern Branch Chair, John Hilton about the recent works to the Haweswater Aqueduct.

After the presentation there will be time for some questions and further discussions.
