The Annual Training Day for the Professional Development Network is back and this year's theme will be 'Attracting and retaining future talent within the industries we operate through the utilisation of emerging technology’ delivered and facilitated by Skewb Ltd.

The ability to attract and retain talent is a challenge in the future as much as it is today. As future industry leaders we need to understand and recognise we are as much responsible for this challenge as much as today’s leaders. This training day being facilitated by Skewb is a full day training day asking the same questions that Skewb has highlighted with our industry’s leaders, enabling an opportunity for us to support and challenge a real-life issue our industry faces. On top of this, we will be discovering some of the emerging technologies that can potentially aid in attracting people in the future with the skills we need.

We would like people who attend to: 

• feel that they have been able to network with like minded individuals, creating a solid community for the industry
• gain an understanding of the emerging technologies within the industry
• learn tools and techniques which will be useful for any role that they undertake in the future
