This event has three speakers who will each be giving a presentation on their utilisation of data and how this is applicable to the Water Industry. The speakers and topics are as follows:

Lynne Bouchy (Product Line Manager at Createch Solutions) - Real-time Data and Process Control for Performance and Efficiency: A Case Study

Lynne spent her career in the water industry in a variety of roles from R&D to business and across Europe, mostly in the field of wastewater and sludge process technologies. For the past couple of years she has worked as Product Line Manager for Createch Solutions, a company providing digital solutions such as advanced process control.

Edmund Willatts (Asset Reliability Engineer at Wessex Water) - Using StormHarvester to Move to Condition-based Maintenance

Edmund Willatts is an Asset Reliability Engineer at Wessex Water. For the past four and a half years he has been optimising the storm overflow (EDM) monitoring equipment and the data from it. Wessex Water were the first major user of StormHarvester, a program that learns and predicts how the sewerage network responds to rainfall and other factors. Edmund will describe how Wessex Water are using it to improve their environmental performance and move to the condition-based maintenance of their assets.

Keeley-Ann Kerr (Energy Optimisation Analyst at Welsh Water) - How Data is Helping Welsh Water's Journey to 50% Process Emissions Reduction

Keeley-Ann Kerr is an Energy Analyst for Dŵr Cymru Welsh Water. She joined Welsh Water as a graduate in 2018, and since joining has spent most of her time with the Energy Team. She has a Master’s in Climate Change, so minimising the company’s greenhouse gas emissions is extremely important to her. For the past year and a half Keeley-Ann has been working on Welsh Water’s Net Zero work package 4 ‘Process Emissions’. Keeley-Ann will look at what Process Emissions are and how data will be vital in the race to achieve Net Zero.
