The Midlands Branch of The Pipeline Industries Guild is pleased to welcome Richard Holdgate, HS2 Senior Project Manager for Utility works, to give an overview of Phase 1 so far. 

 

The construction of HS2 affects many of our pipeline members with a number of water, gas and fuel (as well as electricity and telecoms) diversions being undertaken in order to make way for the safe construction and operation of the new High Speed railway line. 

 

Richard is responsible for the delivery of diversion, protection and assurance works through a suite of contracts by the major Utility organisation as part of HS2.
