Webinar: Digging Up Britain 2020: What we can all learn from the millions of works taking place across Great Britain.

Registration is closed for this event
Richard Broome, Managing Director at LSBUD, reviews the 2.8 million searches that take place through the LSBUD portal over the preceding 12 month period, focusing on trends founds and linking those searches to the damages reported through USAG (Utility Strike Avoidance Group).

According to the latest industry report, “Digging Up Britain 2020”, there has never been as much collaboration in the utilities sector, nor as many works taking place around these networks.  Such works are being undertaken by a broadening range of stakeholders, from utility companies through to residential occupiers.

The session will focus on who is doing the searches, where and why they are doing them as well as looking at the data provided through these searches to help keep the assets safer.

Areas of vulnerability, especially in the water sector will be assessed, together with regulatory pressures that should help influence those companies to protect their assets more effectively.
