The Midlands branch has introduced ‘Fika’, meaning coffee break in Swedish, which links up members from different areas of the industry to have one-on-one chats not just to share industry ideas, but to also talk informally on a social level.

This initiative gives members the opportunity to connect with people from different areas of the industry on both a professional and social level to chat about how they are coping and also about industry ideas to help bring back those lightbulb moments that may not be as frequent working from home.

“Our first Fika session was very successful. It was easy and informal, allowing for knowledge sharing and a discussion around challenges and objectives over the next few months.
