This award introduced in 2007 is awarded every two years to an individual or company for outstanding contribution to the pipeline industry over a sustained period in either the UK or worldwide. This award is made in honour of K.A. Spencer of Penspen; a founder member of the Guild and National Chairman in 1969. This award is open to both members and non-members of the Pipeline Industries Guild.
