Panel Restructure - Summer 2026
We are reshaping the PDN to better engage early-career professionals across the pipeline industry, expand awareness and participation and create more opportunities for members to network, learn, and gain value from the community.
The restructure focuses on reducing administrative effort, growing a stronger professional network, delivering member-focused events, and establishing clear roles and responsibilities within the organization.
Key Milestones
- June: Recruitment and applications for new roles
- Mid-September: Candidate interviews
- Late September: Launch of the new PDN structure
This initiative aims to build a more effective, connected, and valuable network for current and future PDN members.
The restructure introduces a range of new roles, these are: Sector Reps, to include, but not exclusive to: Finance, Estates, Net Zero, Water & Wastewater and Energy. In addition to the regional reps, for the eight branches: South East, Midland, Eastern, Wales & West, Northern, Scotland, Ireland and Northern Ireland.
Don't fancy a representative role? The restructure creates a new National Collective of committee members sitting alongside the Chair, Deputy, Secretary and Sector/Regional Reps.
