Net Zero Transition Panel
Our Panel
The UK has committed to reaching Net Zero Carbon emissions by 2050. This highlights areas for development within industries and creates opportunity for cross sector growth, the Net Zero Transition Panel aims to form communities between the Guild members across all sectors to leverage opportunities and convert conversations into actions.
There is a need for consistent and concise messaging across sectors regarding future Net Zero objectives and outputs. The Net Zero Transition Panel will develop and implement a digital central hub of Net Zero information across a range of Net Zero lenses for all Guild members to access. Utilising meetings with committee members, the Guild’s existing resources and external SME’s; the Panel will be a trusted partner, equipping members with the tools, materials and information required to support their Net Zero journey.
The Panel focuses on:
Sourcing and providing Net Zero information
Net Zero Construction
Skills and competency requirements to achieve Net Zero
Innovation for tomorrows pipelines and assets
Health & Safety in the transportation and storage of new gases
UK Regulation & Investment roadmap
Forming wider cross sector communities in specific Net Zero topic areas
