Webinar - Introduction to High Speed Cleaning of Pressure and Non Pressure Pipes
Picote Solutions manufacture a range of high speed cleaning machines for use in DN32 to DN300 pipes. The purpose of the webinar is to present the current range of machines and associated tools and compare high speed cleaning against current pipe cleaning methods.
The machines consist of a rotating steel shaft that is located inside a plastic outer casing which is housed in a reel located in the centre of the machine. The steel shaft rotates between 500 to 2900 RPM depending on model have a working range up to 45 metres.
Picote manufacture a range of tools that fit onto the end of the rotating shaft. The footprint of the equipment is very small compared to existing machines and they are very manoeuvrable making them great for site work. The machine is operated by a foot switch and the operator holds onto the outer flexible casing thereby reducing any Health & Safety risks to the operator. The environmental impact is very low as the machines can be used in dry or very low flows of water compared to high pressure water jetting.
The machines can be used to unblock, clean and descale pipes as well as root cutting, cutting out concrete and failed linings. The Aqua Range of machines are suitable for use in potable water mains.
