Site Visit: Draycote Water - Drawdown Pipeline Project
In Partnership with JN Bentley, Severn Trent Water, RED7 and PAM, this is an opportunity for PDN members to visit Draycote Water drawdown project. Learn about the engineering complexities of this project from outline design through to project delivery.
The project consists a triple siphon pipeline with a purpose to allow Severn Trent Water to draw down reservoir levels quickly and safely to meet new government regulations.
The siphon pipelines are made up with DN1200 ductile iron with Universal VE joint which is partially installed below water by the Red7 diving team.
Come and learn from the project team at JN Bentley, Red7 Inshore Diving and PAM about this project and decisions taken from outline design stage through to project delivery.
This event will include a site visit so please bring PPE.
Please Note: This event is open to our Professional Development Network Members therefore will need to be 35 years of age and under. Proof of age will be required.
