Professor Tim Wright, co-founder of SatSense and Professor of Satellite Geodesy at the University of Leeds, presents an overview of ground and structure movement monitoring with satellite radar (InSAR) for utilities assets.

SatSense is a UK-based InSAR data and services provider. InSAR is a satellite-based technique to remotely measure ground and structure movement with millimetric precision through time. Built on decades of academic heritage in Earth Observation algorithm development, our vision is to make InSAR data more accessible.

The webinar presents case studies from upstream to downstream across the water and energy sectors. This includes insights into the stability of dams, monitoring risks to vital pipelines, improving wide-area pipe network failure models, and supporting the construction of the next generation of underground infrastructure.
