Saggart Reservoir Project Site Visit

The Pipeline Industries Guild- Irish Branch is pleased to arrange a visit to the construction site of Irish Water’s Saggart Reservoir Project where works are underway constructing a new 100 million litre reservoir in Saggart. This reservoir will improve security of supply to the Greater Dublin Area. Coffey are working on behalf of Irish Water to deliver this project.

This site visit, meeting at the Coffey Site Compound, in Saggart, Co. Dublin will encompass: 

• A short technical presentation on the need for and the design of the new reservoir

A site walkover of:

• The inlet and outlet valve houses
• Cell 2 of the reservoir;
• The onsite electro-chlorination plant
• The trunk main network configurations being installed to connect to and from the live network ranging from 600mm to 1600mm dia. DI steel and AC pipework on site.

The Project Team will highlight innovative techniques adopted to streamline the construction and minimise operational impact of the live waterworks site. More details on the progress of the project can be found with this link Saggart Reservoir Project.
