Children's Webinar: The Journey of Water

The second of our Children's Webinars aimed at Children between 5 - 9 years old, will see Severn Trent will take you through the journey your water takes every day, from the rivers and reservoirs to your tap, through the sewers after you have used it and back to the river. You will find out the wonderful things water can do and why it is so important to all of us. We might even get to look at some of the yucky stuff that gets flushed away!!

 

At Severn Trent it is our job to make sure that our customers get lovely fresh drinking water every single day and that when you flush the toilet or empty the sink/bath that the dirty water is taken away safely and cleaned to get rid of all the nasty things that have been put into the water.

We will take you on the journey that your water takes every single day so you can see exactly what happens to it and the important role that Severn Trent and all the other water companies play in making sure your water is the cleanest tap water in the world.

We will also look at why water is so important for everything we do in life, why we really do need to start to take extra special care to look after the water that we have and how we can all help to save water and also to make sure our sewers can work properly.
