London Showcase and Lions' Lair
Lions' Lair: Unleash Your Innovations!
Five courageous contenders will present their cutting-edge innovations to a panel of industry experts. Each participant will have four minutes to present their idea, followed by a four-minute Q&A session with the 'Lions.' The winner will be presented with the Chris Bielby Award.
To be involved in the competition, submit a 250-word extract on a subject or project relevant to the gas industry in which you have been personally involved. The deadline date is 6 December 2024. Entries to be sent to events@igem.org.uk
Following the Lions' Lair, we will welcome our keynote speaker John Butterworth, CEO at National Gas as he shares invaluable insights and perspectives on the industry’s future, 10 years since he last spoke at the event.
This year, we will be supporting The National Autistic Society. Founded in 1962, they are the UK’s leading charity for autistic people and their families. They are here to transform lives, change attitudes and create a society that works for autistic people. This charity's mission is to transform lives by providing support, information and practical advice for more than 700,000 autistic adults and children in the UK, as well as their three million family members and carers. They aim to change attitudes by improving public understanding of autism and helping businesses, local authorities and government to provide more autism-friendly spaces, deliver better services and improve laws.
