Webinar - Introduction to Sewage Treatment

Registration is closed for this event
New to the industry or want an overview of how a sewage treatment works works?! This is the webinar for you.

Join the Wales and West branch as James Bezer, lead scientist for the West region in Wessex Water gives an overview of the key stages of sewage treatment.

Perfect for any new entries to the industry who've joined over the past 18 months but haven't managed to visit a site yet (any graduate schemes out there need an overview?) or for people who've been in a while but would like a refresher.

James will give an overview of the key stages of sewage treatment, from when the waste water enters the works, primary treatment processes, biological treatment (focusing on two main treatment types but commenting on the wide range of process options available), tertiary treatment and briefly on sludge treatment.

A lot to cover in 30 minutes, but a useful overview of anyone new to the industry or wanting a refresh on their treatment processes.
