CALL FOR PAPERS - Wales and Western PDN Paper Competition
The Wales and Western branch invites you to submit a 250-word synopsis by 8th of April 2022 on any subject associated with the pipeline industry, the emphasis will be on your personal involvement with the project/subject. The winner will receive a £250 cash prize! Examples include, but are not limited to, Waste & Potable Water, Gas, Oil, Health & Safety, the Environment, Sustainable Design and Logistics. Presentations are encouraged from all business functions and DO NOT have to be engineering based.

The shortlisted entries will be asked to give a 15-minute presentation on their chosen topic to an audience and panel of judges from the Pipeline Industries Guild (face-to-face) on the 28th of April 2022 (4PM - 6:30PM).

How to enter:

The winner:
The winner will receive the first prize of £250. They will also be entered into the National Competition against other regional winners on the 11th May in Coventry.
Entry Conditions:
Synopses and presentations are to be composed and delivered individually
Entrants must be 35 years or under
Synopses received after the deadline date will not be entered into the competition
The winner will need to be available to take part in the PDN comp final on the 11th of May in Coventry.
