BIG Data in Pipelines
There will be a selection of short presentations given from Wessex Water, Steve Vick International and other companies. The evening will showcase how the different speakers have applied techniques around BIG data management in order to support them with asset management. Our key note speaker is Nathan Hand, a Critical Sewers Engineer at Wessex Water. He will present how digital engineering has helped provide valuable business insight into buried assets. Nathan has been involved in trialling new technologies, including point cloud surveys, for surveying manholes and other buried infrastructure and will demonstrate the results of his trials, lessons learnt along the way and how big data has transformed traditional survey techniques.
Arrive from 4.30pm with a start at 5pm and join us for networking and nibbles afterwards, place are limited so book early!
