Webinar: Anglian Water’s Proposed Lincolnshire Reservoir
The Eastern Branch of The Pipeline Industries Guild will be hosting a webinar with Anglian Water who are proposing a new reservoir in Lincolnshire that will secure water supply to its customers for future generations
Lincolnshire Reservoir is a £2.3bn Nationally Significant Infrastructure Project near Sleaford. It comprises a new 50 million cubic metre reservoir (approximately 5km2 surface area), river abstractions from the River Trent and the River Witham, over 70km of transfers, and a new 180Ml/d water treatment works.
The project presents significant social, economic and environmental opportunities for communities and the whole of the East of England . It is due to start on site ~2030 and be in operation ~2040. This webinar will provide an overview of the need for the reservoir and the current proposals.
