Simon Thomas is an international business consultant, with 25 years’ experience in the manufacture of thermoplastic structured wall pipes and products for the water and construction sectors. He was managing director at Weholite in UK until 2018 and helped to introduce the first large diameter HDPE structured wall products into the UK. He developed Weholite HDPE Structured Wall Pipes into one of the most recognisable brands in the industry by changing business focus from pipes to solutions that pioneered the brave new world of offsite build (DfMA).
He was responsible for driving the Weholite UK business in the towards Industry 4.0 by introducing automation into the prefabrication plant; making it a safer and more efficient working environment, during this process developing and investing in the World’s first robotic milling cutter for large diameter thermoplastic pipes.
He now travels the World developing Weholite thermoplastic structured wall pipe businesses for Uponor Infra Oy and their Licensees.
He also works alongside Uponor Project Services, specifically developing business worldwide for marine intakes, outfalls and other subsea applications.

The Kobus KP400 is mounted on the arm of an excavator and driven from the auxiliary hydraulics. It was developed especially for steel gas pipes and the North American market because it has greater power, ease of handling around site, less manual handling, and improved productivity when replacing multiple service pipes on a single street as distinct.
Our KP300 is a free standing unit driven from its own auxiliary power unit.
